One of my students, REALLY likes to take pictures. Today, she asked if she could see me ride, so when we finished our lesson, I thought why not. As I was riding, she was taking pictures. Throughout this, I thought of Glory, my first horse, and how we always went bridleless. I knew I had been working with Jack on it, and I thought, why not work on it now? It'll be a great picture opportunity as well as a chance to work with him on it more. So off went the bridle, and my gosh was I surprised! He was good at the walk, the trot, stopping, turning (except the couple times he wanted to go his own way, but he easily got back on track). And so we cantered, and it was AMAZING! -
In life, sometimes we're going to be caught by surprise. Without expecting it, God will throw something your way that is going to shock you, whether that's a good way or a bad way. But let me just say, cantering Jack bridleless honestly made me feel like I had a piece of Glory back. Once again, this proves just how amazing, wonderful, and awesome God is.
