Catching the feels at Abraham Lake, or rather, lack of feels (in my body) w/ @sameer.design | @raymond_dam_ | @wilson.images

First off, its been too long since I've got together and shot with other photographers. I've been going solo for a while not because I'm a loner but because of the time constraints I've placed on many of my excursions. It was such a blast shooting with @sameer.design again, and also meeting @raymond_dam_ and @wilson.images for the first time. I think it started with Ray mentioning he was thinking about heading to Ladner Creek this weekend. An ambitious, last minute and strenuous road trip - just up my alley, I thought. I took it upon myself to invite myself and before you know it we had a crew set up in a couple hours. I'm always down to meet other people, and especially willing to go on a random adventure with other like-minded individuals.

The first stop was Abraham Lake, one of the coldest places on Earth right now. And that it was, probably the coldest I've ever felt in my life! The methane bubbles beneath the lake (if you haven't heard) are a natural phenomenon that look really cool when frozen as they appear suspended in time. Timing plays a huge factor in capturing them, and although not too happy with the weather and the state of the bubbles and not to mention the horrible face tearing chill of the wind, I am appreciative that we all attempted to get outside here on an increasingly stark, frigid day and take some photos!

Also, they're filming a Disney movie here about a sled dog named Togo! The movie is called Togo starring Willem Dafoe.
