Now I have to go out and shovel. Let’s see how long my upper body can last. Why use whey protein ?

If your using a protein or shake supplement instead of a meal then all your doing is eating less calories. So yes doing that may have helped you with weight loss 😉

Family gym time! I started week three of training runs and ran three miles at my fastest pace!! 🏃🏻‍♀️ It was hard to run just after breakfast 👎🏻 Yoga practice was first thing this morning 🧘🏻‍♀️and lunges will be accomplished this afternoon. On the topic of food: I constantly feel like I could be doing better. It’s not the worst (we rarely eat out) but I love bread and cheese🤷🏻‍♀️ I wish the process of counting MACROS didn’t stress me out. I stumbled across this video last night while searching for some art photos on my external hard drive. My best friend Ali and I would always go to this water park when she would visit me in college. I remember these times as such happy and fun times with her - she understands the mermaid side of me 😆

Pretty self conscious about posting this for several reasons lol. One being - it’s a video. Two - it displays me at probably my largest and it makes me vulnerable. And three - you can hear my voice which I think is silly. But - it shows that I dedicated myself into changing my life in the way I’ve dreamt of doing for years.

Please don’t misjudge what I am saying - I wanted the change. I wanted to lose weight and feel comfortable in my body. Some people are comfortable with their bodies in all shapes and sizes - that’s not me harshing on anyone or what they like about themselves. I was just not happy with where I was.

Well, I preach and teach to everyone to live in their challenge zones. This is pushing my danger zone but I think it helped me motivate myself this morning on #motivationalmonday.

For years I only had Instagram for a social media platform. I used it solely for fitness related post and inspiration from the many fitness influencers on here. Since I’ve started my fitness journey I’ve watched many of their platforms/businesses either change or unfold... not all but most. I spent a good chunk of this journey constantly comparing myself to those shredded competitors to only find myself let down that although I never wanted to compete I still really wanted to look a certain way. And now in my opinion, unless you plan to compete it is stupid to have those standards set for yourself. Lately, I’ve gotten a lot of feedback that my posts are attention seeking, and guess what? I don’t want your attention, but what I do want is to possibly motivate one person that follows me like the many influencers I followed when I first started did for me. Because without that, I wouldn’t be where I am today. I’ve definitely been eating a bit more outside my comfort zone lately— allowing myself to eat way more bread than usual, ordering baked goods at every chance, choosing the option with less veggies... My mindset because of this has not necessarily been all that great 😕 I’ve been feeling guilty a lot the past few days, wondering why I’m “doing this” to myself. I think on every health journey there are multiple moments when you revert a bit— or at least do something that FEELS like you’re reverting— in order to jump forward 🤸🏼‍♀️ Even though there are months and months when I feel great in my skin and proud of my abilities to listen to my cravings, there are weeks like the past one where I question it all. And knowing my plans for today and what food they involve, I probably will question myself for a bit longer. But it’s a phase I have to ride through, so in the meantime I’ll take little steps to get back to the mindset that does make me feel good, like adding extra veggies to my dishes that I love 😋 Have any of you ever felt this way? De la même manière, je veux arrêter d’essayer à tout prix de «convaincre» quelqu’un. C'est juste une perte de temps et d'énergie. "Ne pas réagir" ne signifie pas que je suis d’accord avec ce qui se passe, cela signifie simplement que je choisis de faire abstraction, de m’en servir comme leçon. Je choisis d’être la "grande personne". Je choisis ma tranquillité d’esprit parce que c’est ce dont j’ai vraiment besoin. Je n’ai pas besoin de plus de drames ou que les gens me donnent le sentiment de ne pas être assez bien. Je n’ai pas besoin de combats, de disputes ou de fausses relations. Parfois, le silence suffit et vaut mieux qu’un long discours.

Je commence à comprendre que réagir aux choses qui vous bouleversent donne à quelqu’un d’autre le pouvoir sur vos émotions. Vous ne pouvez pas contrôler ce que les autres font, mais vous pouvez contrôler comment vous réagissez, le gérez, le percevez et vous voulez le prendre. Je garde à l'esprit que ces situations ne disent rien sur moi et beaucoup sur l’autre personne.

- leg and core hypertrophy - Increases blood flow to active tissues for recovery purposes
- increases force output in legs to enchance sprinting performance
