When we first meet we are often physically attracted, perhaps the other has lovely eyes or you are drawn by their physique, or their laugh. We are also drawn to people by their smell. This quote came to mind yesterday while talking with one of my freestyle skiers. A young female athlete with so much raw talent and potential. This girl has the desire and the athletic abilities to go right to the top. Despite constantly proving her capabilities to herself and others she regularly has moments of self doubt and low confidence. These feelings, this limiting mindset, lives within all of us. The trick is changing the way we think about ourselves. By creating and sticking to routine behaviours we develop a trusting relationship with ourselves. Sounds wierd right? Over time, with constant practice we begin to trust ourselves until we know in our absolute soul that we will do whatever it takes to achieve what we want, regardless of what may stand in our way. We learn to trust ourselves and the confidence grows! With this 'self-trust', you then begin to see any 'failure' or problem, or obstacle, not as a failure or problem or obstacle at all... but as an opportunity to step up, learn and progress. The fear begins to fall away and you become unstoppable. Beyond the walls of the comfort zone, we challenge ourselves, we force ourselves to think, feel and do things we might otherwise shy away from. This is where we learn what we're capable of, what our true calling in life is... Who we truly are!

I guess it’s hard to believe someone can’t still be intelligent and God fearing if they wear a leotard. . . Yes, a leotard. That same piece of clothing most gymnast, yogi’s, dancers, and athletes tend to sport. . . I guess me posting in a leotard takes away from the many hours a week I spend studying Human Anatomy, Nutrition, Flexibility, and about our Creator to not only educate myself, but others, too. . . I guess it also takes away from the many private sacrifices I make to God on a daily basis that I actually live out and don’t post about. . . I guess it makes me a whore, despite the fact I’ve been single and happily celibate going on a couple years now, because of my personal desire to please God. . . I guess it makes me an attention seeking thot because I’m confident enough to share my flaws and successes in my fitness and flexibility journey publicly. . . My posts was me reflecting on how proud I am to finally see the definition coming back in my inner thigh, connective to my hip and groin region, but others may see and interpret something differently, for which I’m not responsible for. . . We’re all adults here and we should have a broader perspective of life by now. Stop thinking so small. . . I used to be morbidly obese once upon a time, so I get excited when I’m able to see even the slightest cut pop out at me, because I never thought It would be a day where I’d see any type of muscular structure after being buried under pounds of fat for years. You may not ever understand that kind of self-esteem or self confidence, so who are you to try to judge it? . . I will not continue to hide myself or defend myself anymore via comments or DMs from the disrespectful backlash I get when I post myself in different settings just trying to live life honestly when I know I’m not doing anything wrong. Gratitude ✌🏻 I have had an amazing 7 days. Working 3 facilitation contracts, one side hustle, two auditions (got the part btw 👌🏻), rehearsals for @shakespeareswitched and just generally being surrounded by my favourite things. Positive Energy 💭 Talented and driven people 💁🏼‍♀️ Nostalgic places 🌎 I am just so grateful for everything today. My life has never been at a higher point. Im on a different frequency and it feels like it’s all coming together. 👏🏻 Gratitude creates abundance 🙏🏻

Truer words couldn’t have been written! ✨ For a long time I used to make up countless excuses for why I couldn’t create a life I love. ❤️ I used to tell myself, ‘you can’t do this until you’re an expert’.. convincing myself to put things off & doubting all the experience I already had. #doneisbetterthanperfect I was so afraid of failure, that I just wouldn’t start anything....but then I realised, what would I rather....knowing I tried & didn’t succeed or never trying at all? 🤷‍♀️ Today I have a styling shoot happening at my house that I’m so excited about and the one thing I keep thinking is, ‘I’m glad I didn’t wait any longer!’ 😉 This is just the start of exciting things to come.... #dontwait #juststart 🙌 📷 via @leannefordinteriors
