Long post and long, messy hair warning but I reached my final goal! I cannot believe how hard it was but the feeling I have now makes it worth it. I also can't believe that I can say that I've lost 50 pounds since last May and 65 pounds overall! I focused on a keto diet where I ate more fat and protein than carbs, mixed with a caloric deficit and doing HIIT cardio and endurance focused workouts at least 5 times a week. This really helped shred the body fat. Honestly all it takes is to start a routine, and once you stick to that routine it does become easier. The road is never easy, however. I gave up and quit working out sometimes, but still always got back on my routine. According to my BMI at 27.4, I'm still overweight so please grant me strength as I try to lose 10-15 more pounds in the coming months. #weightlossjourney #ketotransformation #progress #hiitworkout #bodyweighttraining

I’ve been feeling a bit down in the dumps for the last while and it’s affected me both mentally and physically. Stress causes my IBS to flare up, which directly affects my sleep and my ability to train. I would be lying if I didn’t also add that when I am a bit down in life, I tend to want to retreat into a cave (I’m human). 🐼

Today I forced myself to do a workout because I knew I physically could - and now I literally feel like a million bucks! 💰 .

The banana pancake‼️ Hey, this dish is one of my favorites as a last meal of the day. It also works really fine as a breakfast.

So this is what you need:

One banana
Two eggs
Blueberry
Blackberry
Raspberries
Cinnamon
Cardamom
Butter or oil
Bonus casein or protein powder.

Do it like this:

1️⃣Mash the banana.
2️⃣Mix the banana with the eggs, cinnamon, cardamom and a little bit of water.
3️⃣Put some butter or oil in a frying pan and fill the frying pan with your bananapancake mix.
4️⃣Fry it for 4 minutes and then switch side.
5️⃣Put the berries on the pancake.
6️⃣BONUS: you can mix casein (chocolate flavour) with some milk and some bluberries and pour it on the pancake.
7️⃣Enjoy!

This exercise is called a Spiderman push up. It works out your whole upper body and parts of your abs. I usually do about 3-4 sets of 8-10 reps. Due to a recent leg  injury, I’m not performing this 100% correctly. You want to make sure your legs gets as close to your elbows as possible. This works out more of your abs. But overall it’s a fun exercise and one of my favorites. Give it a try 👍🏾
